mwnn is back online
After two days of server trouble, mwnn, is available worldwide and in your neighborhood. Timing couldn’t have been worse, but in the big scheme of things, this was just a speed bump on the internet highway. I am most glad to be back and even more grateful that you have come back. There are so many great things, big and little happening in the ward it will take me a few days to get back up to speed. In the meantime, stay dry, stay safe and enjoy.

- Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k participants may consider the following bus options:
- Broad Street #6 runs every 20 minutes between Willow Lawn Shopping Center and Church Hill and stops at Harrison Street.
- Cary Street #13 runs every 30 minutes between River Road Shopping Center and Downtown (returns via Main Street).
RACE DAY PARKING
We encourage participants to car pool to the race. Even better run or ride your bike to the starting line. Free parking is available on streets throughout the area. We strongly recommend going east of Belvidere to find on-street and surface-lot parking. To lessen your chances of getting stuck in traffic, please avoid the Belvidere exits off I-95 and I-195 and instead go further east and exit on 3rd Street, Broad Street or Franklin Street.
Paid parking ($5 per vehicle) is available in parking decks located at 801 W. Main Street (between Laurel and Cherry streets), at 1101 W. Cary Street (corner of Cary & Harrison St.), 609 Bowe Street (next to the Siegel Center) and 100 S. Jefferson Street (between Cary and Canal Street).
Please note that Broad Street (between Belvidere and Lombardy) and Franklin Street/Monument Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic on race morning. To access the parking decks in the area, please use:
- Main Street deck: Take I-195 to the Idlewood exit. Make a left turn onto Cherry Street to deck entrance.
Cary Street Deck: Traveling east on Cary Street, deck is on your right at the intersection of Harrison Street.
Bowe Street deck: Exit I-95 at the Boulevard and head south (right). Make a left turn onto Leigh Street. Travel east to Bowe Street and make a right turn (one block east of Lombardy). Go south, deck on left.
Jefferson Street deck: Traveling east on Cary Street, the deck is on your right at the intersection of Jefferson Street (two blocks east of Belvidere Street).
MOTORISTS NOT ATTENDING THE EVENT ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO USE I-95 AND I-195 AROUND THE CITY.
