Beignet Day Big Blast*
Beignet Day at Louisiana Flair was a big success attended by several minor online celebrities, local business people and half the staff of the MG/RTD IT department. Fortunately the servers did not go down and the newspaper should be delivered on schedule tomorrow morning. This comes as both good news and bad news depending on your point of view and place of employment.
Beignets ran out at 10:20 and the only disappointed customer showed up at 10:30.
Expect some surprises next week including appearances by several wannabe celebrities, posers and political candidates. A table reserved for readers of this blog. Again, subscribers will get in free and served a free cup of coffee at the mere mention of mwnn.
Extra powdered sugar is available upon request.

.
*The Editor and Publisher of mwnn has received no renumeration for this endorsement and paid full price for each beignet consumed. Word has it that Tripp Fenderson has received special consideration.

The Corner of 4th & Grace
Chef Nate has promised a cup of coffee with each order of his award winning Beignets when accompanied by this article. To be consumed properly Beignets should eaten on the spot, the minute they are served, but they can be packaged to go.
My coworkers expressed great wonder and astonishment last week when I brought a plate of beignets. The voted me “Employee of The Day”. I am now allowed to be 10 minutes late every Wednesday as long as I bring in the good stuff.
